Hi! I am a quarter. They made me in 2006. I was originally made in London, England then ended up a little more to the west. First, let me show you how I ended up there. While I was being made by the machine that makes other quarters like me, I was knocked over by somebody elbowing me and I flew on the ground. I was done being made but I had to dry from the hot liquid silver that covered me up.
A week later, nobody picked me up but then a lady saw me and put me in her purse. We drove miles and miles then we finally came to a stop. She ate her lunch when suddenly I saw a hole in her purse. No wonder she didn’t have any coins in there. So I started to slide faster and faster and fell through the hole and landed loudly on the ground. When I landed I made a twirling sound and a man heard me and said, “Wow! Just enough for my bus money!” So he dropped me in a basket. The bus driver and me drove for hours! When the rides were over, I was thrown in a plastic bag. I was given to a seamstress and put on the ground so she could sew a hat for the bus driver. Then one of her needles poked a big hole in her bag. I slid through the hole. When she got up, she kicked me out her window and I fell into her backyard lake. I was never found until 1,000,000,000 years. Then a barracuda swallowed me and I got trapped. So now I’m stuck in the belly of a giant fish. |
